Since I will not be re-installing these parts I've decided to sell my oem 3.538 FD ring and pinion gears plus every bearing, shim and bolt from the stock setup. In Feb. xxxx I did a fd gear swap on my xxxx 350Z and changed it all out with brand new parts.
The installer is a top notch mechanic and did a good job saving each item and I've kept them boxed up and stored in the house ever since. The car had 27,763 miles on it at that time. Each and every item in this package is in outstanding condition!
This is a great deal for this setup at only $200 *plus shipping (approx. $40 anywhere USA or $20+ in Utah), or pick up here in St. George and save any shipping! The ring and pinion gears alone are worth more than the amount that I am asking; the extra items are worth over $200 more! Here is a list of of what I paid for these exact same oem items that I purchased for my install, from my xxxx invoice:
Pinion bearing- $47.50
Pinion drive bearing- $77.50 *largest one.
(2) Differential side bearings- $105.00 *(2 in upper left of pic #1).
(10) Bolts- $27.00
* purchased soon after: (4) side adjust shims- $18 per $72.00, (1) pinion shims- $18.00 (I don't know the thickness of the stock shims). Approx. $350 for the bearings, shims, bolts NOT COUNTING the ring and pinion gear themselves new; current value with about 28K miles on all of this. I always have used top quality full synthetic differential, like I mentioned these parts are in fine condition.
There are many more miles to be had on these items and they could make for a good rebuilt/swap as here is most everything that you would need.
It is already packaged well. I would ship it USPS; it weighs about 22 lbs. and can ship it to either coast they said for approx. $40 bucks; here in Utah $20+ and that would work well for me and don't want to mess with cheaper methods, besides that's a good rate. * I have just lowered the price of this kit for the last time (on 9-12-xxxx) from $325.00 to only $200.00 plus shipping and I just keep it all if someone doesn't take advantage of this killer deal!
